The Peter Saunders Trust is a charitable trust established by entrepreneur, Peter Saunders, in 2005.

The Trust supports worthwhile projects and encourages personal achievement in the beautiful but remote part of rural Wales between the Dyfi and the Mawddach rivers. The Trust also supports projects in a wider area if they can be shown to benefit this locality.

The Trust aims to promote excellence in the projects it supports and favours projects that show endeavour, a measure of self-reliance and a spirit of enterprise.

The Trust likes to support projects that others might find hard to support, perhaps because they break new ground, involve risk or lack popular appeal. The Trust also initiates projects when new thinking is required or when it believes that an opportunity is being missed.
